Welcome toAshperton Primary Academy

About Us

Ashperton School is situated in the village of Ashperton which is 5 miles from Ledbury in Herefordshire

We have 198 children on roll from the age of 4 up to the age of 11. The old part of the school was built in the 19th Century. The school was remodelled in 1989 when two new junior classes were built and we have had a new three classroom extension built last year. This means that pupils are taught in light, airy and modern classrooms.  Our final remodelling stage of the Victorian part of the school  finished in July 2015.

Our school has 7 classes.

The three infant classes are Red Class (Reception), Purple Class (year 1) and Orange Class (year 2)

The four junior classes are Green Class (year 3 ), Blue Class (year 4 ), Yellow Class (year 5 ) and Turquoise Class (year 6)

The children are also part of a ‘house’.  The children are awarded house points for doing fantastic work, being kind or polite and for general good behaviour.  They also participate in team events and work together in houses.
