Homework week beginning 14th October

Lines

This week the children were not given a reading task but rather asked to learn their words for the harvest festival - what a great job they did!

Maths

Higher Score - Squares and cubes page 9 and page 11 Common factors

Expected - Square numbers page 16 and prime numbers page 19

Spellings adding suffixes that begin with a vowel to words with one syllable ending with one vowel letter and one consonant letter.

Art

the children have been asked to draw something small that represents their house (Willow, Oak, Birch or Chestnut.)  It might be something to do with a value, sport, competition, what they do well as a house eg getting platinum leaves, art, geography. It should be no bigger than the A7 piece of paper I have given them.

Word of the week

clarity - to make clear

Have a great weekend!
